These are L-shaped cardboard edge/corner protectors (also called edge guards or angle protectors). They’re made from layered kraft paperboard, formed into a rigid 90° angle. The image shows several stacks of them in different lengths. Common uses:

Snap-fit/interlocking cardboard corner protectors
Snap-fit (also called interlocking or buckle-type) cardboard corner protectors are L-shaped edge guards made from multi-ply kraft paperboard, featuring specially designed male and female connectors at the ends. These connectors allow individual pieces to snap together securely, creating continuous edge protection or forming precise 90° corners as needed.
Ring-shaped corner protectors
Ring-shaped (also called flexible or notched) cardboard edge protectors are multi-ply kraft paperboard profiles designed with evenly spaced notches or cuts along one leg. This special structure allows the protector to bend smoothly and form a continuous ring or curve, providing full edge protection for round, cylindrical, or irregularly shaped products.

What shapes can I order?
L-shaped — 90° posts for pallet corners and carton edges
U-shaped — open channel that wraps a straight edge
Coloured / white — same structure, cleaner outer face
Snap-fit / interlocking — male/female ends that clip into a frame
Ring-shaped / notched — one leg is notched so the board can bend around drums, coils or irregular packs
What sizes are standard?
Typical equal-leg widths: 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100 mm.
Thickness: about 2–8 mm (up to ~10 mm heavy duty).
Length: short corners from 50–150 mm up to full pallet posts 1,000–2,400 mm, cut to order. Unequal legs are available.
How do I choose thickness and leg width?
Match the strap and the load:
Light cartons / narrow PP strap → 35×35 × 3 mm
Standard pallet unitising → 50×50 × 4–5 mm
Steel strap, export stack, appliances → 50–80 mm legs × 5–7 mm
The leg should be at least as wide as the strap. Full-height posts should run from pallet deck to the top of the load.
Are paper corner protectors recyclable?
Yes. They are 100% paperboard. JINGPAK cites FSC, SGS, REACH and RoHS on request. They are not wood, so they do not need ISPM-15 heat treatment.
Can I print a logo or use a colour other than brown?
Yes. Outer liners are available in natural kraft, white or custom colour, with logo or handling marks printed on the face.
Do they replace foam or plastic edge guards?
For dry logistics they often replace foam corners and plastic angle on cartons and pallets: lower cost, recyclable, and they spread strap pressure. Foam still wins for high-shock cushioning of finished surfaces; plastic still wins for long wet or wash-down use.
How are they used on a pallet?
Place one L-profile on each vertical corner (and top/bottom edges if needed), then apply stretch wrap, shrink wrap or strapping over the board. The board takes the strap tension so the carton or product edge does not crush.
What is the MOQ and lead time?
JINGPAK’s general FAQ states samples can be free, bulk lead time is often about 5–7 days, and MOQ varies by product. For edgeboard, MOQ is usually by bundle or metre — confirm size, thickness and whether the outer is printed or coated.
What do you need for a quote?
