Paper IBC Boxes are high-strength corrugated intermediate bulk containers designed for 1000L liquid and powder transport. Each unit uses a food-grade liner, stacks for warehouse storage, and folds flat when empty—so you cut freight, storage, and disposal cost versus drums or rigid plastic IBCs. Built for edible oils, juice concentrates, chemicals, and other non-hazardous bulk products, these recyclable paper IBCs give you leak-resistant filling and discharge with a lighter, more sustainable pack.

PAPER IBC BOXES INDUSTRY APPLICATION
Food & beverage: edible oils, palm oil, coconut oil, juice concentrates, syrups, sweeteners, soy sauce, vinegar, glucose, dairy derivatives, buttermilk, sour cream. Chemical / industrial (non-hazardous): adhesives, emulsions, latex, detergents, shampoos, lubricants and greases, inks, plasticisers, liquid fertilisers, resins. Dry / powder (solid Paper IBC variants): granules, powders, agricultural products — use a solids-rated sleeve without liquid valve, or a powder liner.

How does it compare with drums or plastic IBCs?
One 1000 L Paper IBC replaces about four to five 200/220 L drums. Empty units fold flat and use about 80% less storage space. A 20 ft container typically holds about 20 filled units (≈ 20,000 L). Cost and carbon are usually lower on one-way lanes.
What can I put in a Paper IBC?
Typical products: edible oils, juice concentrates, syrups, soy sauce, vinegar, adhesives, emulsions, detergents, lubricants and other non-hazardous liquids. Powder/granule versions exist without a liquid valve. Always match the liner to the product (oil, food, mild chemical).
Is it food grade?
The food-contact layer is the inner liner, not the paper. Specify a food-grade PE liner and the certificate required in your market (FDA, EU 10/2011 or equivalent).
Can it be used for dangerous goods?
Standard Paper IBC Boxes are for non-hazardous goods. Do not ship UN packing-group dangerous goods unless that exact design is tested and certified.
What is the capacity and size?
Standard: 1000 L (265 US gal), outer about 1090 × 1090 × 1000 mm. Also common: 800 L (reefer) and 1100 L. Pallet is typically 1100 × 1100 mm or 1120 × 1120 mm.
Are paper IBC boxes shipped flat or assembled?
They are shipped knocked down and flat packed for easier handling and lower freight cost.
How is it filled and emptied?
Top-fill through the inlet. Discharge through a bottom valve (often 2" / DN50 with camlock). One person can usually assemble the empty unit in a few minutes.
Do you supply PE liners and lids?
Yes. We can supply paper IBC boxes as a complete set, including the sleeve, lid, and PE liner. The lid is a corrugated cap that improves stacking and dust protection. The PE liner is available in food-grade.
Can Paper IBC Boxes be stacked?
Yes. Typical rating: 3 high static in the warehouse, 2 high in transport. Compression is commonly 8–10 tonnes. Keep units level and dry.
How many sets fit in a 40HQ container?
A 40HQ container typically holds 500 to 1,000 sets, depending on the box size.

What should I specify when ordering?
Capacity, square or octagonal body, liner type (PE or barrier), inlet/outlet size, food-grade documents, pallet type (wood / plastic / paper), product name, density, fill temperature and destination climate.

Sample policy?
Samples are free of charge. Freight is paid by the customer.
